Quick double for Reyan Lewis as K J Express takes third

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Presently second in the jockey’s championship, apprentice Reyan Lewis completed a quick double after just three races on the Independence Day race card when he piloted K J Express to victory for leading trainer Anthony Nunes.

K J Express racing in a Restricted Allowance IV event for four-year-olds and upwards over five furlongs round went for the earlier lead which he held despite being challenged in deep stretch by Nuclear Thunder winning by three parts of a length.

Second was Nuclear Thunder with third going to Lala Diva.

The winning time was 1:00.1.
