Race #1 is the Port Maria OTB Trophy to be run over 1600 meters. The winner should arrive from are #1 Asurety and #3 Call The Emperor. Asurety is making his fourth appearance in the last month; is knocking at the door and is getting fitter with every run; has a good chance going the distance. Call The Emperor is knocking at the door at this level, very consistent and now getting fitter should be the one to beat .
Race #2 is the Ocho Rios/East Queen St OTB Trophy to be run over 1100 meters or 5 ½ furlongs. In this small line-up of six, the winner should definitely be decided between #1 Jnr Jones and #3 Silverstine.
Jnr Jones finished a creditable third over the distance doing 1.11.3 back in October with Audibility who is also present. The winner is # 3 Silverstine who led most of the way, before she was passed by Three Card Guy, and with the champion jockey retaining the mount, this one should be an easy winner.
Race #3 is the Hayes OTB Trophy to be run over 1000 meters straight.
This race should be a match race between #3 KD Rocket and #2 Color Me Tan. K D Rocket has the class to beat these once fit and should be able to hold on from a down in class, Color Me Tan, who might need the outing.
Race #4 is the Santa Cruz OTB Trophy to be run over 1300 meters.
The main characters to decided this one are #1 Regal and Royal, #5 Regnant and #7 Press Conference. Press Conference is comfortable coming around the bend after finishing second over the straight on last, while #1 Regal and Royal is getting fitter and can win a race of this nature.
Race #5 is the Portmore Entertainment OTB Trophy to be run over 1200 meters. This should be a straight fight between Sticky Don and Always Vigorous.
Race #6 is the New Cross Road OTB Trophy to be run over 1000 meters straight. The advice is when closing the Reggae 6, never depend on one horse to close your bet no matter how good that horse looks on paper. Spread as wide as you can afford.
