KINGSTON, Jamaica – After being beaten the last two times they met, the Anthony Nunes trained Oneofakind finally got the better of top three-year-old filly Another Affair in the Caymanas Sunday ninth offering.

Seven horses were placed in the starting gates following the late withdrawal of Tomohawk in a Restricted Stakes for three-year-olds and imported four year-olds travelling nine furlongs and 25 yards.

At the off, Awesome Treasure took the field into the clubhouse turn followed closely by Oneofakind (Dane Nelson) with Another Affair (Robert Halleden) going wide in the turn.

In the backstretch run, Halledeen quickly pushed Another Affair into the lead but both Awesome Treasure and Oneofakind were still close.

With three and a half furlongs to go, Nelson pushed Oneofakind by both Another Affair and Awesome Treasure and although the latter mustered a challenge, Oneofakind was not to be caught.

Oneofakind recorded a time of 1:55.0.

Nelson was on his second winner on the day.
