Omar Walker pilots Royal Aviator to victory in the eight for Wayne DaCosta

KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an easy romp for Royal Aviator, jockey Omar Walker and trainer Wayne DaCosta in the eighth event of 10 as the Saturday racing card comes close to its end.

Racing in an Optional Claiming ($750,000 - $700,000) and a four-year-old non winners of four over 9 furlongs and 25 yards, Royal Aviator was held of the pace from the off before moving closer to the leaders leaving the half-mile pole.

Then it was a case of who would finish second as Royal Aviator pulled away from his eight rivals to win by an ever increasing seven lengths.

Second went to 10-1 shot Dada’s Nala was second with Key Witness third.

The winning time recorded by Royal Aviator was 1:58.4.
