KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was an historic day for trainer Ian Parsard as his seven-year-old bay horse Superluminal ridden by Omar Walker enabled him to achieve his 100th win as a conditioner at Caymanas Park a short while ago.

“Glad, it is always good to reach the landmark of 100 winners.

“For Superluminal to achieve this milestone for me makes is even more special as he (Superluminal) has been a stalwart of the stables over the years.

“Plus, the rider Omar Walker and groom Arthur Langley have been with the stables for a long time as well, in fact, it was Walker who was on board when I had my first winner,” Parsard said after his 100th win.

Racing in Open Allowance (one mile), Superluminal was kept off the lead set by Yaya’s Dream with Dysfunctional and Saratoga Sight not far behind.

Walker got Superluminal going and entered the straight in front and then the grit and determination came to the fore and Superluminal held on stubbornly for the win over Uncle Frank with Saratoga Sight third.

The win was the second on the day for Walker. He is now ridden 45 winners for the year.
