Omar Walker breaks lean spell on Papa Albert in 2nd Easter Monday event

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Former six-time champion jockey Omar Walker broke his drought of winners when he brought home the Ryan Darby trained Papa Albert to victory in the second of the 10 races scheduled on the Easter Monday card.
Papa Albert was kept just off the pace by Walker in the $450,000 - $400,000 claiming event for three-year-olds and up covering a distance of five furlongs round.
Papa Albert a 5-2 shot was 1 ½ lengths ahead of the fast finishing Poker Star with Parajet third.
Papa Albert was claimed from the race for $450,000 by trainer Oneil Markland for himself.
