KINGSTON, Jamaica - The noticeable and strong emerging partnership of jockey Omar Walker and champion trainer Anthony Nunes continued their winning ways in 2021 with Generational in the sixth event on the Caymanas New Year’s Day card which is in progress at this time.
Walker asked Generational to stay behind tear-away leader Awesome Boy (Ameth Robles) and when he decided to move with four furlongs to go suffered a bit of interference.
In the straight, Walker went through horses to get the nod by three-parts of a length over the ever consistent Big Big Daddy (Oshane Nugent) and Elitist (Roger Hewitt).
The winning time was 1:20.2.
