Nunes replies in race 2 – with one – two finish, Cardenas down for today

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Trainer Anthony Nunes replied to Wayne DaCosta’s win in the first race with a one-two finish in the second race at Caymanas Park a short while ago.

Bruce Wayne (Linton Steadman) dropping down from Overnight Allowance to 250,000 claiming broke no sweat at all in winning the one-mile event by 12 lengths at odds of 1-9.

Second was Diosa De Oro (Shane Ellis) at 5-1 with third going to 8-5 chance Supertronics.

With the win and the second finish Nunes based on preliminary figures has gained just over $100,000 on DaCosta.

Bruce Wayne ran a mile in 1:39.3.

Both Bruce Wayne and Diosa De Oro are owned by Stephan Narinesingh.

Panamanian jockey Dick Cardenas is not riding on the day.
