Nunes gets the edge over DaCosta as Orpheus scores with Shane Ellis

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Title chasing trainer Anthony Nunes got the edge on the Diamond Mile Race Day over his main rival Wayne DaCosta, as Orpheus took the ninth race minutes ago with Shane Ellis in the saddle.

The 7-furlong Overnight Allowance event was won in a time of 1:26.0 with Orpheus as the even money favourite. The winning time was 1:26.0.

Second went to foreigner My Elle Belle at 6-1 with third going to another Nunes inmate, Bruce Wayne at 5-1.
