KINGSTON, Jamaica – Riding a well-judged race veteran reinsman Paul Francis brought Nuclear Emma with a strong effort to win the Caymanas Tuesday second.

Victory for Nuclear Emma trained by Johnny Wilmot was accomplished in a four-year-old and upwards Optional Claimer ($450,000 - $400,000) travelling a distance of 6 ½ furlongs.

It was El Gringo (Carlos Blake) who assumed the lead followed by Nuclear Emma and Vampire Rejection (Jerome Innis).

Riding the turn for home, Francis pushed Nuclear Emma by El Gringo to enter the drive - in front and from then on it was a case of who would finish second. That spot was occupied by Prince Dominick (Shane Richardson) with third going to El Gringo.

It was the 10th victory this year for trainer Wilmot while Francis scored his seventh.
