RACE TYPE – Three-year-olds and upwards Open Allowance/Graded Stakes Ian Levy Cup

DISTANCE – 8 ½ furlongs

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the 14th time this year, Nipster finished his three-year-old campaign with a magnificent effort in  winning the Caymanas Boxing Day night cap with a devastating run which has placed him atop of the list for Horse of the Year 2020 honours.

With Robert Halledeen in the saddle, Nipster trained by Gary Subratie was as is customary way of the leaders as the early pace was set by Kink Arthur and Roy Rogers with Jamai Raja and Mahogany close by.

Mahogany (Dane Dawkins) then took and entered the stretch drive under some pressure as by then Nipster had waded through the field and was now in attack mode.

Halledeen and Nipster then went into overdrive and the talented three-year-old went further and further away from his accomplished rivals.

Second running on was Sentient (Ameth Robles) to give trainer Subratie a one-two finish in the event. Toona Ciliata was third.

The winning time was a smart 1:43.3.
