KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was expected to be easy but it was not, as District Attorney a newcomer had to fight off the persistent challenger of Jammin to win the maiden condition 3-year-old first race over five furlongs round.

Jammin (Shane Richardson) held the lead on the inside in the straight until Aaron Chatrie produced District Attorney on the outside to get home in time by a neck.

District Attorney trained by Spencer Chung was the odds on 2-5 favourite. Third went to Flying Bullet (Anthony Thomas).
