KINGSTON, Jamaica – After leading comfortably to the furlong pole in the three-year-old and up Open Allowance event – race number eight – run over 5 ½ furlongs - on the mid-week card at Caymanas Park, Nuclear Flight seems to have broken down thereby paving the way for the tough and gritty Another Bullet to fire home under the guidance of apprentice Daniel Satchell.
It was a bang-up finish as Another Bullet won by a neck over Adonis who was also a neck in front of Peking Cruz.
The splits were fast, 22.4 x 45.3 with Another Bullet finishing with a final time of 1:06.2.
After the race trainer of Another Bullet Patrick Lynch stated: “I deliberately put up the claiming apprentice to give Another Bullet a real chance in this one and it was the right decision as this weight difference allowed Another Bullet to win.”
