KINGSTON, Jamaica – Santorini a two-year-old chestnut colt by Soul Warrior – Milestone got his racing career off to an eye catching start when he dug deep to win the seventh race today (Oct 17) at Caymanas Park).

Ridden by Dane Nelson, who completed a natural hat-trick of winners, and trained by champion conditioner Anthony Nunes, Santorini having his first run in a two-year-old maiden contest going 5 ½ had to go into his reserves during the stretch run after failing to connect with the leaders Jahsendblessings and Awesome Choice (Anthony Thomas).

Racing on the inside rails, Santorini showed grit and determination to get next to Jahsendblessings (Dick Cardenas) before pulling away to win by 1 ½ lengths.

The Genesis (Shane Ellis) was third.
