KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing for the first time under the care of in-form trainer Ian Parsard and after nine tries, Native Gold belatedly found the winning post in front.

With Parsard’s favourite jockey Omar Walker in the saddle, Native Gold set off like a sacred hare in the quick four-furlong – three-year-old Maiden Condition contest.

This time, however, she did not give up the gallop, winning easily by 4 ½ lengths.

Second was 12-1 outsider Weekend Jazz (Roshane Johnson) with Helicopter landing in the third spot at odds of 18-1.

The winning time done by Native Gold was 47.2.
