KINGSTON JAMAICA – Co-champion jockey Anthony Thomas sealed another raceday double aboard the Jason DaCosta trained My Time Now in the Caymanas Saturday seventh.
The Caymanas Saturday seventh was for four-year-old and upwards horses (non-winners of two) travelling the distance of 6 ½ furlongs.
It was Step In Faith (Javaniel Patterson) who set off in front with Ajita (Dane Dawkins) racing close behind.
Then My Time Now was way off the leaders racing third to last. My Time Now did not come into the picture until the horses were turning for home and then he was way on the outside as Ajita carried the field for the stretch run.
Coupling up nicely, Thomas unleashed My Time Now who flew by Ajita to win by almost three lengths. Ajita was second and Kay Boy (Omar Walker) third.
