Master of Hall ready for Bonnie Blue Flag test

MASTER OF HALL LEWIS REYAN APRIL 14 2019

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The feature race on tomorrow’s (April 20), 10-race card at Caymanas Park is the Bonnie Blue Flag Trophy. This race is for Open Allowance horses and is competed for over nine furlongs and 25 yards (1,820m).
In this year’s edition, six horses are entered.
MASTER OF HALL: Thankfully has been able to overcome health issues and seems poised to show his best. Was very unlucky when defeated by Run Thatcher Run over 7 ½ furlongs (1,500m) on March 30 at the Overnight level. Then, as if to say, “I am now ready”, Master of Hall ran a scorching 1:37.0 for a mile just 15 days later. Now Master of Hall moves up a grade to Open Allowance and further proof of his prowess is sure to unfold. Master of Hall is the choice.
FAYROUZ: Last year’s heroine of the Jamaica Oaks who made a return to competitive racing just two weeks ago after a break. Fayrouz is a talented filly but who now needs time to get back to her best.
HOUDINI’S MAGIC: A truly hard knocking sort who can tear-up any script on any given day. If the fit and proper Houdini’s Magic turns up tomorrow then a competitive race is at hand.
PAKMAN: Simply cannot manage these at this time.
DRUMMER BOY: Has been racing a lot this season. Finished a good second behind stable companion Stranger Danger on April 3 over a mile. Drummer Boy was beaten by 5 lengths in a time of 1:38.0 and was also 3 lengths in front of Houdini’s Magic, who was third. Based on that performance, Drummer Boy has a shot of going one better here.
SECRET TRAVELLER: Secret Traveller has already won over this distance and is rounding into good nick as witnessed by his recent second place run over the five straight. Has a good chance of taking home this trophy tomorrow.
