KINGSTON, Jamaica – Some sort of balance was restored in the third race on today’s (July 20) race card at Caymanas Park, when leading rider Christopher Mamdeen brought home Uncle Freddie at odds of 9-1.
The 6-furlong event for Overnight Allowance horses saw a battle for the lead involving Adoring Lady, Dubrobin and Madam Secretary with Mamdeen playing the waiting game on Uncle Freddie.
In the run for home, Uncle Freddie produced the stronger run going on to win by 1 ¼ lengths. Dunrobin held for second over El Profesor.
