KINGSTON, Jamaica – As if the fountain of winners can never stop, even in trying circumstances, leading rider Christopher Mamdeen just completed another triple when he won the seventh race on the mid-week card on old timer Poker Star.

Poker Star owned and trained by Oneil Markland, was held off the early goings by Mamdeen but the oldster fought gallantly in the straight to hold of Mr Pantheon (Reyan Lewis) with Necromancer (Raddesh Roman) third. Necromaner was then disqualified from third and placed behind Cristilano.

Interestingly, the saddle on Poker Star slipped shortly after the start, yet Mamdeen rode robustly to get the job done.
