Lot #2 sold for $4.4 million as Yearling Sale off to brisk start

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – The annual Thoroughbred and Owners Association (TOBA) Yearling Sale is currently taking place in the official car park at Caymanas Park, and is off to a brisk start.

With 114 lots on offer, purchases including those from Trinidad and Tobago and Guyana, are already digging deep into their pockets.

Lot #2, a bay colt by Natural Selection – Just A Flutter sold for a good price of $4.4 million. Just A Flutter is the dam of Lottery Ticket, Stir It Up, Sink The Bismarck and Yaya’s Dream.

Lot #3 – a chestnut filly by Soul Warrior – Honeymoon Bay sold for $2.2 million. Honeymoon Bay is the dam of Dancing Queen and Sweet Peppa.

Lot #8 – a bay colt by American Dancer – Fiftyshadesofray sold for $3.1 million. This is the first registered foal for Fiftyshadesofray.
