KINGSTON, Jamaica – The seventh race on Saturday, December 3, 2022, is for the ‘babies’, seven of them travelling five and a half furlongs.

Only two of the seven horses entered have raced before. 

The Quick Galloper looks at the runners with the added information of their exercise spins included. 

1 - BIG GUY IN THESKY is a bay colt (March 12) by Natural Selection out of Granville Greta trained by Gary Subratie with Shane Ellis aboard.Clockers believe that this first-timer is much more than useful. He has prepared well for his debut and with Shane Ellis aboard the signs are three for all to see. Exercise reports Tuesday (Nov 13) three furlongs in 35.3, Saturday (Nov 19) four furlongs in 46.3, and on Sunday (Nov 27) 5 ½ furlongs in 1:08.3.  

2 - BOX BOX is a chestnut filly (March 9) bred in the United States by Shaman Ghost out of Jessica In Black trained by Owen Sharpe with Aaron Chatrie in the saddle. Still learning her trade. Exercise reports Tuesday (Nov 15)  four furlongs in 49.0; Monday (Nov 21) five furlongs straight (easy) in 103.3, and on Sunday (Nov 27) five furlongs in 1:03.2.  

3 – KISSMET is a bay filly (March 30) by Adios Charlie out of Holy Cowgirl trained by Steven Todd with Dane Dawkins on board. Started her career on a note on October 18, when finishing third behind the duo of Mamma Mia and Mojito. Kissmet reports in good nick and is expected to be close.

4 – ACKNOWLEDGEME is a bay filly (March 26) by Key To Power Gentle Officer trained by Michael Thomas with Youville Pinnock in the saddle. The one with the experience in this lot of seven with four starts to her credit. Acknowledgeme will have to wait.  

4 - FRED THE GREAT is a bay colt (March 26) bred in the United States whose sire is Adios Charlie trained by Jason DaCosta with Robert Halledeen aboard. This foreigner has shown his worth in the mornings, with many saying he will be one of the main deciding factors. Exercise reports Saturday (Nov 12) five furlongs in 1:01.4, Monday (Nov 21) five furlongs in 47.1, and Sunday (Nov 27) 5 ½ furlongs in 1:09.4 (easy). 

5 - ANONYMOUS is a bay colt (April 15) by Lion Tamer out of Eighteen Karat trained by Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster aboard. Coming along at exercise with some useful efforts. Don’t be surprised if Anonymous gets close when the winning post arrives. Exercise reports Saturday (Nov 5) three furlongs in 37.3, Saturday (Nov 12) four furlongs in 49.3, and Sunday (Nov 27) 5 ½ furlongs in 1:09.0.  

6 - BURLAP is bay colt (March 18) by Casual Trick out of Fedora trained by Richard Azan with Anthony Thomas aboard. Coming along but doesn’t seem to be ready as yet. Exercise reports Saturday (Nov 10) six furlongs 1:21.0 and on Monday (Nov 28) four furlongs in 47.0 seconds.  

7 - RUNNING GLORY is a bay filly (April 2) bred in the United States whose sire is The Big Beast trained by Jason DaCosta with Reyan Lewis aboard. Finding her way on local soil. Will have to wait. Exercise reports Saturday (Nov 19) four furlongs in 47.3 seconds and on Saturday (Nov 26) 5 ½ in 1:10.3.
