KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was her first race for the year and Lady Blue showed that during her absence from competitive racing that she has progressed quite a lot as she demolished rivals in the Hotline Stakes – a race for three-year-old fillies only – non-winners of two run over six furlongs.
It was a gate to wire run by Lady Blue – as jockey Omar Walker sent her on her winning way from the number one draw when the gates opened and during the race itself she was never really challenged.
The Wayne DaCosta trainee recorded a winning time of 1:13.3.
Second was the slow starting Princess Lauren with Casual Drink third.
