KINGSTON, Jamaica – Champion jockey Chris Mamdeen is slowly returning to form. Mamdeen produced a blistering late surge on 15-1 shot Killer Bee to land the third of 10 races on the Saturday (November 14) programme which is progress at this time at Caymanas Park.

The 7-furlong Claimer ($450,000 - $400,000) for four-year-olds and upwards (non-winners) of two saw the two favourites Lazer Light (Dane Nelson) and Night Light (Dane Dawkins – another chance ride) dominating the early goings and were also tugging at each other in the stretch drive.

Just when Nelson and Lazer Light went in front with victory looking assured Mamdeen brought Killer Bee who was flying wild to go by for the win.

Lazer Light was second and Night Light third.

Killer Bee is trained by Renex Burrell.
