Journeyman jockey Aaron Chatrie scores on Garrincha for trainer Spencer Chung

KINGSTON, Jamaica – After getting close to the leaders three furlongs out in the day’s ninth event, journeyman jockey Aaron Chatrie pulled the Spencer Chung trained away from rivals in a Restricted Allowance event – non-winners of 3 to win by 3 ½ lengths.
Garrincha, a four-year-old grey gelding was the 4-5 favourite and gave his trainer his first winner of 2019.
Second went to Bad Boy Trump at 9-5, with third going to Ricky Ricardo at 11-1.
The winning time for seven furlongs was 1:25.3 and the margins 3 ½ by 1 ¼ lengths.
