Irish Whisky pours it on in Caymanas Tuesday sixth

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Irish Whisky distilled a well attained his first victory with Dane Nelson doing the work on top in the Caymanas Tuesday sixth.

Racing in a three-year-old maiden special weight event going five furlongs round, Nelson brought Irish Whisky trained by Winchester McIntosh from the wide outside to be with the leader Chiney Music (Dane Dawkins) at the half mile turn.

That order did not change until a furlong to go when Irish Whisky pulled away to notch the win by 2 ¼ lengths.

Chiney Music was second with Leo (Phillip Parchment) finishing third.

Trainer McIntosh was winning his first race of the season.
