KINGSTON, Jamaica – In a demonstration of his timing skills, jockey Dane Nelson earned his second win on the day when he brought home the Patrick Lynch trained Iamacitizen in the Caymanas Saturday seventh.

This first win by Iamacitizen racing with the blinkers on came in a four-year-old and upwards non-winners of two for local horses and for maiden foreigners. The distance was 5 ½ furlongs.

Nelson kept Iamacitizen well of the pace and in the straight weaved his way through horses eventually finding space on the rails, where they accelerated well to win by three parts of a length over Lava Boy (Tevin Foster) and Miss Hillington (Anthony Thomas).
