KINGSTON, Jamaica – American importee Graydon after over 10 runs without finding the winners’ enclosure was finally able to do so a short while ago when he won a Restricted Allowance IV offering for four-year-old and upwards non winners of three and imported four-year-olds and upwards – non winners of two travelling 9 furlongs and 25 yards.
Ridden by the much in-form Shane Ellis and trained by Philip Feanny, Grayon stalked Sendamessagetomama who was the leader before taking up the running with three furlongs to go.
Ellis kept his mount going well in the stretch drive and despite a brave final flourish by She’s Symbolic was able to win by 1 ¾ lengths. Third went to Dyna’s Pride.
Graydon won at odds of 2-1, She’s Symbolic was the 6-5 favourite.
