KINGSTON, Jamaica – Go Deh Girl returned from a break of 56 days in spanking form, to beat her more favoured rivals in the Caymanas Saturday (May 28) feature, - the Open Allowance Pari-Mutuel Department Trophy run over five furlongs straight.
Trained by champion Anthony Nunes with Tevin Foster in the saddle, Go Deh Girl in the field of six, led from the time the go button was pushed to the end, winning by all of 4 ¾ lengths. God of Love (Robert Halledeen), the 4-5 on favourite finished second with Duke(Dane Dawkins) third.
The winning time coming down the straight was a fast 58.2 seconds with searing splits of 22.2 x 44.4.
Go Deh Girl was the second winner on the day for Foster.
