KINGSTON, Jamaica – Friendly Neighbour just moments ago broke the sequence of odds on favourites winning on the mid-week 10-race card at Caymanas Park as the filly took the fifth race under a bustling ride from apprentice Tevin Foster.
Trained by Carl Anderson, Friendly Neighbour took over the lead in the 8 ½ furlongs event for four-year-olds and up leaving the half-mile marker but had to be driven out to hold the final rush of Nala’s Bushman with Prince Holder on board, eventually surviving by a neck. Third went to the 1-2 favourite Isotope with Dane Nelson in the saddle.
