KINGSTON, Jamaica – The massive $5 million carryover Pick-9 exotic wager just got underway on the second race on the mid-week programme at Caymanas Park with 5-2 chance Foot Soldier upsetting the 4-5 favourite and banker for many, Top Eagle.
Ridden by Robert Halledeen and trained by Leroy Tomlinson, Foot Soldier exchanged the lead several times with Top Eagle (Shane Ellis) in the 9 + 25 yards event before pulling away entering the straight.
The winning time was 2:00.2. Top Eagle at 4-5 ended in second position with Buckaluck third.
