KINGSTON, Jamaica – Twelve horses are entered in the highest-level event on the Saturday (September 17, 2022) offering at Caymanas Park.

For the purpose of ease, Dejae’s Boy, Dunrobin, Unruly Boss, Kay Boy, and Sweet Majesty can be safely eliminated from any serious reckoning.
The Good Witch is a consistent sort and it is only a matter of time before this foreigner will earn his first win on the local track. It will not be on Saturday.
Super Duper is speedy but has just reached this class and will have to wait for his turn.
Big Big Daddy is slowly finding his best form. Based on that assessment, he will have to wait.
True Al Sky is another consistent runner who last raced on August 13 when finishing behind She’s My Destiny going a mile. Now trying six furlongs, True Al Sky is better suited and will have a say in the outcome.
Generational has been knocking hard on the Overnight door. Generational after finishing second to El Profesor over five furlongs (1,000m) round, is going to be more at home at six furlongs. Any way this race is run, Generational has an outstanding chance of winning.
Eagle One found one better in Race Car when he returned to the Overnight grade three weeks ago. He is now presented with the perfect opportunity of putting a tick in his win column. Eagle One has the ability to run close to the early pace or take the lead if required.
Emperorofthecats is the only three-year-old to reach Overnight despite not winning any of the Classic races. Six furlongs is perfect for his running style and although beaten by both Generational and Eagle One is sufficiently endowed to take this one. Plus, the presence of Shane Ellis in the saddle provides enough motivation to wager.
