KINGSTON, Jamaica – Jockey Shane Ellis and trainer Alford Brown secured a double on the day when Custer shook off all and sundry to win the Caymanas Sunday fourth. This was Custer’s second win in a row.

Sir Kel (Jerome Innis) mixed it up with Custer until the latter decided enough was enough as he blew by Sir Kel at the top of the straight to win by two lengths.

Unknown Soldier (Aaron Charon) was second and Uncle Vernon (Dane Dawkins) third as Sir Kel (fourth) faded away.

Custer won at odds of 1-5.
