DaCosta/Thomas again – win Dye Job Sprint with Stranger Danger

KINGSTON, Jamaica – The combination of trainer Wayne Dayne DaCosta and jockey Anthony Thomas brought home their second winner on the day, Saturday, December 8, 2018, when the imported gelding Stranger Danger easily won the Dye Job Sprint over six furlongs for two-year-old maidens and non-winners of two.

Stranger Danger was the odds on 1-5 favourite with second going to Universal Boss (Dick Cardenas) at 7-2. American Invader (Omar Walker who led for most of the event was third at 3-1.

The winning time done by Stranger Danger was 1:12.1 with splits of 22.2 x 45.4.

Thomas now goes 11 in front of Cardenas in the jockeys’ race while DaCosta continues to get closer to Nunes in the trainers’ championship.
