KINGSTON, Jamaica – After what can be considered to be a late start to his career, Crimson came up trumps today (July 13) with a quite noticeable win in the 10-furlong I’msatisfied Trophy a short while ago at Caymanas Park.

The trophy race was a Restricted Allowance 11 for three-year-olds and upwards and imported maidens saw Chinamax going into the lead with 1-5 favourite Tricky One (Anthony Thomas) tracking not far behind.

After five furlongs leading rider Christopher Mamdeen pushed Crimson into second before taking over and it look like a match race between Crimson and Tricky One but in the straight Crimson racing beyond a mile for the first time gathered good momentum to pull away for the win.

The winning margin was five lengths. Sir Ian Links (Omar Walker) was third.

It was the second win on the day for Subratie and owner/breeder Michael Bernard.

Interestingly, it was also the second win for broodmare, Sarah Barracuda who is also the dam of first race winner, Wow Wow.

The winning time was 2:01.1.
