KINGSTON, Jamaica – Secret Identity after two good efforts in the Hot Line followed by the Portmore Cup, laid bare her Classic credentials with a facile victory in the Caymanas Saturday ninth.

The three-year-old bay filly by Bern Identity – Pomeroy’s Secret ridden by Dane Nelson for trainer Tensang Chung won at the non-winners of two category for three-year-olds only.

After sitting close by the leaders, Nelson asked Secret Identity to go to the lead with three furlongs to left in the contest and Secret Identity responded by pushing ahead on the inside rails.

From then on there was no fuss as the filly simply sparkled in what was probably her last race before the 1000 Guineas on Junes 5.

Sure Curlin (Dick Cardenas) was second and Alimony (Chris Mamdeen third).

The winning time was 1:13.4.
