KINGSTON, Jamaica – After a battle with Top Gear (Bebeto Harvey) in the last furlong and a half, champion jockey Anthony Thomas got down to business on Uncle Vernon and was able to capture the day’s third race at Caymanas Park– which was section 2 of the Maiden Condition for three-year-olds run over 4 furlongs straight.
In winning his first race, Uncle Vernon trained by Gary Subratie covered the distance in a time of 48.4.
Second was Top Gear with third place occupied by Belligerent King (Chirs Mamdeen).
