KINGSTON, Jamaica – After obliging on Sunday last (Oct 11), Casual Peach returned in today’s (Oct 17) Caymanas first to notch her second win in six days.
Again ridden by jockey Dick Cardenas and trained by Michael Marlowe Casual Peach came from way behind after a slow start to burst through a packed mid track winning by 1 ½ lengths in a time of 1:33.4. Casual Trick won at odds of 5-1.
Casual Peach won a Restricted Allowance 4 contest for four-year-olds and upwards travelling 7 ½ furlongs.
Second went to 82-1 outsider In The Blood (Hakeem Pottinger) and third was Inspired Miracle at odds of 24-1.
The new exotic wager the Reggae 6 with an incoming jackpot of over $4 million attracted betting of over $6.2 million.
