KINGSTON, Jamaica - The official countdown for the 2018 Burger King sponsored Super Day of racing is well and truly on.

With only five days to go (November 10, 2018), trainers, jockeys and grooms are busy preparing their horses for the races on offer with the three main ones being, the Burger King Superstakes (10-furlongs or 2,000 metres), the Glen Mills Caribbean Sprint Championship (six furlongs or 1,200 metres) and the Coca Cola Invitational Mile.

Most of the horses especially in the three main races have already completed their gallops, so it just a matter of time, and waiting and hoping left for the various connections.

On Friday (November 9, 2018), the Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association (TOBA) will be hosting a banquet at The Alhambra Inn and Restaurant in Kingston starting at 7:00 pm. The contribution is $5,000 a ticket.

Saturday is Super Day and then on Sunday (November 11, 2018), it’s the TOBA sponsored Yearling Sale in the official car park at Caymanas Park beginning at 10:00 am.
