KINGSTON, Jamaica – The fourth running of the richest race on the local calendar, the Betting Gaming and Lotteries Commission, Supreme Ventures Limited sponsored Diamond Mile takes place today at 11:00 am at Devon House in Kingston.
This year the Diamond Mile will be run on December 1.
Chairman of the BGLC, Clovis Metcalfe is expected to give an update on the planning of the race, while representatives of the promoting company Supreme Ventures Racing and Entertainment Limited are down to provide information on the possible entries in the race.
Thus far, three Diamond Mile events have been stage with the Wayne DaCosta, Seeking My Dream winning the first two. DaCosta continued his dominance of the race last year when he conditioned, She’s A Maneater to victory.
