KINGSTON, Jamaica – The highly regarded betting analyst betMaster and Quickgallop.com have joined forces to assist punters in placing more informed wagers by providing in depth analysis and recaps of the day’s races, in addition to several other exciting features.

Today, both betMaster and Quickgallop.com share with readers the raceday analysis for tomorrow, Saturday, January 23, 2021.

Then look out as betMaster explains about FIXED ODDS betting - its benefits, the bet types, the ways to bet among other things.

That is coming soon.

Race 1 - Returning quickly from a better than it looked sixth place finish last Saturday, Balazo meets much easier and is strictly the one to beat. Cruising Motion has seen better days but his recent form puts him squarely in the mix for a placing. Twilight Storm and Awesome Cat have shown enough recently to be considered for a piece in a field such as this. 3-9-7-4

Race 2 - Helicopter gets Lasix and sheds blinkers for his second start off the shelf. He finished a decent sixth in his return run over the straight five course after swerving badly at the start, and may have a pace edge over his more exposed foes. Sheboom continues to disappoint favourite backers and will need to work out a trip from the rail post. Nevertheless, she is obviously a win candidate. Sniper Man and Gorgeous Gift fit in this spot and ought to be there or thereabouts at the finish. 4-1-3-5

Race 3 - Night Light will report ready to go off a dominating performance against similar when last out. He will be tough to beat once again. Killer Bee and Reigning King have the ability to win this but have some running to do to turn the tables on the top pick. Coralando won at the distance and level in November but has been off colour in three subsequent starts. 3-1-6-5

Race 4 - Jahsendblessings has shown promise against tougher. She has been looking up in the mornings for her new trainer and rates as the firm pick. Unwritten Law would have won if not continually drifting in her last start. She must have a grand chance to atone from her outside post. Sudden Flight had no excuse in failing as the red hot favourite in his last start. Though he will appreciate the extra furlong, he will likely find the top pick too much to handle. 6-10-7-1

Race 5 - Sparingly raced Riddim Up just failed when last seen in December and must have a solid chance to finally shed the maiden tag.  Star Lee finished second in a visually poor race on Jan 1, but this race isn't much stronger. Sweet Medicine has been well prepared for this and can't be ruled out. Nuclear Weapon and Galway Bay have shown ability against better, and wouldn't be surprises in such a low rated race. 4-11-12-10

Race 6 - Custer, compromised by the break on last, will report in superior condition. He sheds the blinkers and only needs to break sharply to prove a hard horse to beat. Likely favourite Princess Lauren blew a dream trip when last seen in December, but will benefit from the one month break and must be a top contender here. Baby Star has the ability and versatility to factor in the outcome. 11-10-8-2

Race 7 - Lazer Light continues to hold his form well. His solid second to an out of class Purple Wayne on January 2 gives him the edge in a field full of question marks. Secret Traveler drilled 7f in preparation for this and must be highly regarded in this spot. Leekout would prefer longer but drew the cozy outside post and may sit the perfect trip. 6-4-8-7

Race 8 - American bred Excessive Force is improving and doesn't need to do a whole lot more to beat this group. Awesome Treasure is tractable and should get a good trip under Dane Nelson. Speechless, Money Monster, and especially Green Gold Rush had solid 3yo form but neither seem to be at their best just now. 5-8-7-4

Race 9 - Recently turned 4yo's Double Crown and Another Affair face an unimposing field of elders. Though Another Affair possesses stronger pace, preference is for Double Crown who will love the trip and is versatile enough to adapt to any pace scenario.

Rohan Kabir endured tough trips in his last two starts, both sprinting. Though appearing to be over matched, he is super fit and can sneak into the trifecta. 4-7-8-10

Race 10 - Executive Chief reports with solid form and rates as the top pick. With all the speed signed on, he will be tough to handle late. Crafty N Ready started his career with great promise but has toiled since. He clearly has issues but has changed trainers and can rebound. Double Jeopardy had no excuse when finishing a close up third last week. Though cutting back in distance and securing the rail, she is likely to be outgunned late. Ajita has been well prepared for this but faces a daunting task from the widest post. 6-3-13-10.

Best lookers at exercise this time:

  • Gorgeous Gift (jogged out the straight) looked exceptionally well in preparation for her race tomorrow.

  • Ajita (jogged) continues to impress physically since moving to trainer Ian Parsard. She is entered for Saturday and will report super fit and ready to go.

From the pool:

  • Corolando looked exceptionally well and sound this a.m.

  • KD Rocket did not make the best impression and is not the soundest just now.

Workouts and reports are from the trusted eyes of the betMaster clockers and scouts.

While I do not factor workout or race times into my analysis, the well being of a horse certainly does.
