KINGSTON, Jamaica – It was a romp for Balazo, apprentice Oshane Nugent and trainer Nicholas Smith in the first of 10 races on the Caymanas Park Saturday (Jan 23) card.

Nugent broke Balazo on top and thereafter it was not a race as the rest of the field was scrimmaging for the minor places.

Second went to Cruising Motion (Phillip Parchment) with Twilight Storm (Ramon Nepare) occupying the third slot.

This was Balazo’s sixth victory from 45 career starts.

Of note the Reggae-6 exotic wager sold over $7 million.
