KINGSTON, Jamaica – First time runner Atlantic Blue under strong handling from apprentice Kiaman McGregor just won the second race of ten on the today’s (May 4) programme at the Park.
Trained by Fitznahum Williams, Atlantic Blue was prominent throughout the five-straight journey before pulling away inside the final furlong. Atlantic Blue although racing for the first time was the 3-5 favourite.
The race was a Maiden Condition event for four-year-olds and upwards.
Second went to Mother Nature (3-1) and third was Jamaican Storm (13-1).
