KINGSTON. Jamaica – An easy stroll is expected by the undisputed leader of the present pack thoroughbreds at Caymanas Park, Mahogany in the six-furlong None Such Sprint Trophy.
The None Such Sprint is a three-year-old and upwards Open Allowance/Graded Stakes event to be contested over six furlongs.
There are ten starters nominated to make their way to the gates.
MAHOGANY is way ahead of the rest currently. He has an abundance of speed, and is more than capable of resting with the pack before delivering his usual telling surge. Although Mahogany is giving away the weight, none of his nine rivals can get even get close.
KING ARTHUR cannot be trusted, as sometimes he puts in a good effort, and sometimes, he cannot be found.
MAKE UP ARTIST steps up with her known speed. That speed cannot be compared with that of Mahogany. Will learn.
I AM FRED gets a significant reduction in the weights and will use that to good effect for a minor placing. Expect I Am Fred to be running on for a minor place.
DUKE has received a reduction in the weights of approximately 16 lb. This change will allow Duke the opportunity of completing the exacta.
LURE OF LUCY (USA) has speed but this is a race with many speedsters with this filly the least among these. Can only hope for a minor placing.
GOD OF LOVE is a consistent runner who always gives his best each time he hits the track. God of Love finished second behind Mahogany on last and is expected to put in another good shift and could be in contention for exacta.
CURLIN’S AFFAIR continues to be prominent in his races with a second-place finish behind Jordon Reign’s standing out. Curlin’s Affair also finished third behind Mahogany but a place on the board is the likely possibility.
RACE CAR was a winner on last., Race Car steps up with repeating being a very difficult task.
GO DEH GIRL has no chance of winning this one.
