Action Ann disposes of juvenile rivals in Caymanas Wednesday fifth – double for jockey Omar Walker

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Action Ann in a commanding display dispatched rivals in Caymanas Wednesday fifth to announce her standing as the juveniles prepare for their three-year-old period.

A grey filly by Sensational Slam – Lady Like, Action Ann racing for the fourth time drew away from her rivals and opened a significant gap in the straight winning by all 13 lengths.

The winning time was an encouraging 1:25.1.

Second was the 1-2 favourite Sir John with third going to Heavenly Glitter.

Action Ann was the second winner on the day thus far for jockey Omar Walker.

For winning trainer Christopher Pearson, it was his first winner in 2020 from nine starts.
