KINGSTON, Jamaica – The upsetter came in the Caymanas Saturday (May 1) second courtesy of Deep Blue Sea who won at odds of 21-1. That upset win by the five-year-old chestnut horse ridden by Jordan Barrett and trained by Johnny Wilmot came at the Overnight level at a distance of five furlongs round.

Deep Blue Sea went to the front in this quick sprint as the 1-9 odds favourite Sparkle Diamond (Dane Nelson) was slowly out and was never a challenger at any time to the winner who galloped away to score by 5 ¼ lengths.

Sparkle Diamond, in another disappointing effort was second with Harry’s Train (Omar Walker) third.

Barrett closed a quick first and second race double while Deep Blue Sea was winning for the fifth time from 10 starts.
