KINGSTON, Jamaica – The five straight three-year-old maiden contest has attracted 21 starters with the race divided into two divisions. The other three-year-old contest is a non-winner of two at nine furlongs.
The following analysis is for Division One with eleven starters.
– MISS CALESSI is a grey filly (April 14) by Midnight Hawk out of Auntie Rhoda trained by Delroy Wisdom with Marshall Porter in the saddle. This filly has raced 12 times without ever hitting the board.
– DEVONTE is a grey colt (April 8) by Fearless Vision out of Eighteen Karat trained by Anthony Nunes with Ruja Lahoe in the saddle. Has been around for a while now without any show of form.
– LAST BID is a bay colt (May 4) by Soul Warrior out of Circle The Heart trained by Gary Griffiths with Reyan Lewis in the saddle. Clockers are reporting that this first-time runner has caught attention at morning exercise. Has been preparing for a while and is given every chance of getting off the mark first time out.
- SARGE IN CHARGE is a bay gelding (March 12) by Nasheet out of Aunt Hilda trained by Phillip Lee with Ramon Nepare in the saddle. Ten starts to his credit without anything of substance.
– NORTH LONDON is a bay filly (May 8) by Savoy Stomp out of Right Market trained by Ryan Darby with Omar Walker in the saddle. This filly has been hovering around for a while and now gets the opportunity to get closer than his best finish to date of third. Should be placed in the Hi-Five, and Superfecta.  Note, North London races with the visor off.
- LADY BEN is a bay filly (January 9) by Here Comes Ben out of Lady Maragin trained by Michael Marlowe with Tevin Foster in the saddle. Coming along with this event another part of her learning curve.
- CAVE MAN is a bay gelding (May 12) by Dayton Flyer trained by Lorenzo Robinson with Prince Holder in the saddle. Cave Man is devoid of any winning chance.
– KETURAH is a bay filly (April 14) by Legal Process out of Kalamata trained by Patrick Lynch with Dane Dawkins in the saddle. Out for the experience.
– DUJOUR is a dark bay filly (March 21) by Force De Jour out of First Kiss trained by Roy Matthews with Anthony Thomas in the saddle. This filly has been finishing in the top three on a consistent basis and with nothing to fear from the other ten runners, Dujour is given the best chance ever of getting off the mark. Plus, in this five straight, she is drawn on the outside.
– BERLINO’S CHOICE is a chestnut filly (February 22) by Berlino Di Tiger out of Mete-Orite trained by Anthony Nunes with Dick Cardenas in the saddle. This filly has been steadily making her way up the finishing ladder and is a live outside for the win, the exacta, and trifecta.
– WITHOUT REMORSE is a chestnut colt (May 12) by Midnight Hawk out of Lady In Gold trained by Randolph Scott with Andre Martin in the saddle. Nothing to report on this colt. Note, Without Remorse races with the blinkers off and first time Lasix.
