Kingston, Jamaica - In a pulsating run that shook the empty stands at Caymanas Park, She’s A Wonder decimated rivals to win the 2021 installment of the Thornbird Stakes regarded as one of the major preparation races for the upcoming Classics.
The race started as a speed fest involving, She’s A Wonder (Reyan Lewis) and Hoist The Mast (Dane Nelson).
Then after leaving the half-mile marker, as if to say, enough was enough, Lewis sent on the Ian Parsard trainee and She’s A Wonder swooped off leaving all behind to wonder what was happening. The speed fest had become a romp.
She’s A Wonder got home easily by 10 ½ lengths ahead of Action Ann (Omar Walker) in second place and Sensational Ending third.
She’s A Wonder is a three-year-old bay filly by Bern Identity – Jamaican Dream. This was her fourth win from eight starts and provided the filly provided her trainer with his second winner on the day.
