KINGSTON, Jamaica – Three upsetters, three races in a row has sent punters reeling at Caymanas Park.
Makhi from the barn of trainer Phillip Lee, ridden by Kiaman McGregor came with a storming run to win the sixth event just moments ago at Caymanas Park at defying odds of 22-1. The sixth was a Restricted Allowance IV – five-year-olds and up – non winners of three over 6 ½ furlongs.
The win by Makhi followed in the wake of Paintthistownred at 39-1 in the fourth race and Another Bullet in the fifth at 27-1.
Little wonder that neither the Triple, the Hi-5, nor the Sunrise-6 were caught by bettors.
The carryover in the Sunrise-6 to the EasterMonday’s race meeting is a whopping $1,822,299.38.
