KINGSTON, Jamaica – Starting as the 3-5 on favourite in the first of 11 races on the Caymanas Saturday (March 6, 2021) card, old stager Unbreakable made it career win number 25 from a total of 103 career starts.

Unbreakable trained by Ryan Williams was kept off the pace set by the duo of Original Train and Treasure Train by co-champion jockey Dane Nelson.

When the leaders were completing the final turn for home, Nelson pushed his mount three wide and quickly gained the lead in the straight proper.

Unbreakable although labouring in the final furlong was able to stave off the late thrust of Whatever (Paul Francis) to win by half a length.

Waltzing Matilda (Dick Cardenas) was third.

As expected, Unbreakable was claimed from the event for $250,000.
