KINGSTON, Jamaica – Racing at Caymanas Park for the first time in three months got off to a rollicking start for punters as 6-5 favourite Victory Turn won the first of 11 races at Caymanas Park a short while ago in a gate to wire performance.

The US bred four-year-old filly gave no ends of trouble before the start of the race as she refused from entering the number one starting position.

It was another story when the gates opened for the Restricted Allowance V event for four-year-olds and upwards run over 5 ½ furlongs, as apprentice Calvin Bailey got Victory Turn out quickly and that was that for her nine other rivals.

Victory Turn gave Bailey his first career since he started riding in December 2019 and it was win number three in 2020 for trainer Gary Crawford.

The winner time was 1:08.3.
